Summary
The Talent Acquisition Senior Director will direct, organize, plan and develop the implementation and administration of talent acquisition strategies and associated functions that align with the organization strategy, brand as well as current and future acquisition needs. This will include guiding a team of recruiters, working closely with executive leadership, and ensuring best practices to attract and retain top talent.
Primary Duties
- Develop and lead the execution of a forward-thinking talent acquisition strategy aligned with the company’s long-term goals
- Establish the application, evaluation and screening process requirements for candidates to ensure the selection of optimal candidates
- Create and maintain talent programs, such as internships and referral programs, and co-op programs, to cultivate a robust talent pipeline
- Manage and inspire a high-performing recruitment team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with senior leaders to anticipate future talent needs and create effective workforce plans to meet those needs
- Educate hiring managers on talent acquisition methods and programs and regulatory requirements
- Streamline and enhance recruitment processes to ensure efficiency, scalability, and a positive candidate experience
- Analyze recruitment metrics and report findings to leadership
- Measure the ROI of talent acquisition programs and activities
- Researches, evaluates and implements new recruitment sources, training and strategies to optimize talent acquisition processes
- Build strong relationships with department heads, HR, and senior leadership to align recruitment efforts with business objectives
- Oversee relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors, ensuring the best value and service
- Manages budget and forecast for all talent acquisition programs
- Ensure all hiring practices are compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Other duties as assigned
- 25% Travel throughout the US to Regional Branch Locations
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Ability to work on a computer for prolonged periods of time while sitting or standing
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to travel by plane or car as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field with 7-10 years of experience.
- Experience of 2-5 years in a leadership role
- Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and ability to maintain the integrity of confidential information
- Exceptional communication (written & verbal), and problem-solving skills
- Able to work comfortably and communicate appropriately in a highly collaborative team environment
